MOVIES - V for Vendetta - trailer

>Download<

V for Vendetta is an adaptation of the graphic novel 'V for Vendetta' by Alan Moore and David Lloyd, with a screenplay by the Wachowski brothers and music from Massive Attack. The movie will star Hugo Weaving as V and Natalie Portman as Evey.

The movie had been set for a November 4th release, the weekend of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Gunpowder Plot, but was delayed until March 17, 2006 to allow additional time for production.

Much fuss has been made about this film's adaptation being completed against the will of the graphic novel's creator Alan Moore.

ROUNDBALL - NBA season starts Wednesday !!!

On the eve of a new season, I begin to contemplate the reasons why I like NBA basketball. I can definitely get something out of seeing the lessons of past prominence and the rise of new talent struggling with the details of becoming a champion. Many before have done that. More often a Charles Barkley never becomes Michael Jordan. I look forward to finding a player who has become the best champion that he could possibly hope to become.

These are my choices for

"Most improved team"

-- NY Knicks --

(Larry Brown joins Jamal Crawford, QRichardson, Eddy Curry
Channing Frye & Jerome James)

"Surprise player of the year"
San Antonio's newest outside threat

-- Nick Van Exel --

pulling a fast one
to play his arse off
for a contender...
again.

"Rookie of the year"

-- Andrew Bogut --

(Even if he isn't going to be
the all-time best of this draft year...
For the 2005-2006 season,
The Bucks have the veteran bigs
to keep Andrew from shouldering
full loads during his first year
amongst the bangers of the NBA
allowing him to focus on dead eye
shooting)

"Lebron's average"

29.7 ppg - 10 reb - 8 asst.
(which means nothing without...)

"Lebron's first bid"

Lebron better be well stretched
and ready for this season...

Why? Thanks to
Damon Jones - right
(top 5 in 3pt field goal %
and 3 pt field goals made)
&
Larry Hughes - above
(1st team all defense
and 2005 NBA steals leader)

By the time April rolls around, you WILL BE seeing LBJ and the crew
getting prepped for the playoffs.

"Biggest trade shocker"

(none)

Any takers ????
